WHAT ARE THE FESTIVAL OPENING HOURS?

12pm – 10pm
* Last entry 6pm

WHAT AGE DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO GET INTO THE FESTIVAL?

Don’t forget to bring your ID. The weekender Festival is strictly an 18’s and over event and we will be operating a strict Challenge 21 policy. 

*Please note that customers on site may be asked to produce ID at any point during the event.

DO YOU ACCEPT CARD AND CASH PAYMENTS?

We are fully set up for contactless payments, but advise bringing cash as some Rowlands Funfair and some vendors will be accepting cash. There are NO ATMS on site.

CAN I LEAVE THE FESTIVAL AND COME BACK IN?

There is no re-entry to the site once you have entered the event. Please make sure you have everything you need with you.

IS THERE ANY SORT OF DRESS CODE?

This is an outdoor event and we recommend that you come prepared for all weathers. In line with government guidance there will be no tented areas on site to mitigate the transmission risk of COVID-19. 

WHAT ARE THE COVID-19 ENTRY REQUIREMENTS?

Just like most other festivals and events, The Weekender will require all ticket holders to demonstrate their COVID-19 status before entering the festival by providing either:

  • Proof of Negative NHS Lateral Flow Test – taken on the day of arrival at the festival
  • Proof of Double Vaccination – with the second at least 14 days prior to arrival
  • Proof of Natural Immunity based upon positive PCR result within 180 days

To gain entry you must show either a valid NHS COVID Pass or poof of COVID status or text/email confirmation of a negative NHS Lateral Flow Test.

CAN I BRING A BAG INTO THE FESTIVAL?

To make your entry to the site as quick as possible we recommend that you do not bring a bag. However small bags smaller than an A4 piece of paper are permitted if required. Any bags larger than A4 size are prohibited, there are no cloakroom facilities on site.

We highly recommend all customers download the Skiddle ticket app.

I PURCHASED MY TICKET FOR THE MAY 2020 EVENT. IS IT STILL VALID?

For day tickets bought to our first planned event in May 2020, you will be able to use your ticket for the day of your choice.

*Note – ticket will only be validated once, if you want to go to both days you will need to buy an extra day ticket.

IS THERE DISABLED ACCESS AT THE FESTIVAL?

Please email info@theweekendenderfestival.com with your requirements however please understand this is a grass field and there is some amount of travelling to do in and around the site.

We can provide companion/carer tickets where arranged in advance.

Please note that if you do not discuss your requirements with us in advance we may not have the resources we need to assist you. 

CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD AND DRINK TO THE FESTIVAL?

Personal food and drink is prohibited, apart from one sealed plastic bottle of water up to 500ml. Empty water containers to re-fill are allowed. Local food and drink vendors will be available on site

WHAT ON SITE FACILITIES WILL THERE BE?

We have a wide selection of fully licensed bars, cocktails, independent food vendors, festival stalls, boutique clothing stalls, a fun fair and many other attractions.  

WILL THERE BE ANY AFTER PARTIES?

We will be hosting 2 after parties in Plymouths newest nightclub THÊ DEPØ, Tickets for these are on sale now, go to Facebook or Instagram for the event details. 

WHAT DO I DO IF I HAVE A REFUND REQUEST?

The refund window for 2019 ticket purchases is now closed and refunds for those that cannot attend will not be possible.

WHAT ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED AT THE FESTIVAL?

Upon arrival at the festival all customers will be subject to a search.

Various items are prohibited at The Weekender Festival to keep the event safe and to allow us to comply with the licensing objectives. 

The following items are prohibited at the event, we reserve the right to prohibit any other item if in the reasonable opinion of the organisers it could constitute a risk to safety or security.

Food and Drink

You may not bring any food or drink (including alcohol) to the event with the exception of sealed bottles of water up to 500ml in size. Water points are available on site. Empty re-useable water bottles are permitted.

Liquids

You may not bring any liquids into the event other than sealed bottles of water up to 500ml in size or tubes of suncream and hand sanitiser up to 50ml.

Drugs / Controlled Substances 

A drugs search is in operation at the event entrances, any drugs will be found, Anybody found in possession of any un-prescribed controlled substances will be ejected and passed on to the police. This includes new psychoactive substances or “legal highs”

Trolleys

Trolleys are prohibited from entering the site. 

Animals

Only registered assistance dogs are permitted at the event. Please let us know if you are bringing an assistance dog with you.

Filming equipment 

Unauthorised professional photography or filming equipment is prohibited.

Large bags 

Any bags larger than A4 size are prohibited and there are no cloakroom facilities at the event. 

Dangerous items 

The following are considered dangerous and are not permitted, our security team reserve the right to prohibited

  • Drones
  • Glass in any form (including perfume bottles)
  • Cans or metal containers
  • Spray cans, Gas canisters or compressed gas in any container
  • Fireworks, flares, smoke canisters, Chinese lanterns
  • Camping stoves or cooking apparatus, explosives
  • Hand held communication devices such as radios, radio jammers / scanners
  • Firearms, knives or blades, replica weapons of any sort
  • Large golf umbrellas
  • Balloons
  • Stools / camping sticks / chairs or other furniture
  • Gazebos or parasols
  • Sports equipment
  • Flags and banners
  • Megaphones, amplification equipment
  • Klaxons, airhorns or other similar items capable of making loud noise
  • Laser pens
  • Scooters, skateboards, bicycles, trolleys
  • Any other item which security may deem hazardous
WHAT FIRST AID AND WELFARE SERVICES WILL BE AVAILABLE?

The Medical Centre can be found just inside the Main Gate. It is fully equipped and manned by qualified staff. Please make yourself aware of its location as you enter the festival. If you suspect somebody is unwell take him or her to the Medical Tent.

If in severe cases they are not moving, please do not attempt to move them. Alert a Steward immediately who will call for the exact help needed.

If you take any medication regularly remember to bring it with you and make your friends aware of any illness or allergies you may have. Look after yourself and those around you.

The Welfare Tent is located right next to the Medical Centre. If you need to grab a quiet five minutes or just want someone to talk to, the Welfare Tent provides a safe and non-judgemental space to do this.

RAVE SAFE

We want you to be extra vigilant in the field and on site. Using alcohol and other drugs is never without risk.

If you or your friend feel unwell during the event, go to the Welfare & First Aid tent to speak to our non-judgemental medics. Our qualified team are there to help you, whether you or any of your friends feel unwell, or even if you just need some time out.

If you see someone on their own who looks vulnerable or need help, please contact any member of staff nearby. Please look out for your fellow forest ravers, even if you don’t know them.

Free decanted water is available at every bar. There is also a free water point on site.

  • Don’t push your limits. Be responsible.
  • Be prepared for any type of weather
